POSH Pet Sitters offers a variety of services.

Pet Services (Dogs, Cats, Birds, Horses, Fish, Turtles & More)

During our pet visits we will provide the following services (for both Daily Sitting Services & Overnight Visits):

• Feed and maintain your pets daily routine (fill food bowls, give fresh water, play & walk /exercise).
• For cats, we will scoop the litter box as needed.
• Transport your pet to the vet if there is an emergency.
• Administer medication(s) as instructed.
• Daily Log (“report card”) outlining your pets activities and the day’s highlights.
• Provide you with email or text updates on your pets and home for your piece of mind.
• We will retain a copy of your keys.
• Home Services – bringing in mail and newspapers, placing trash cans at curb, watering plants, opening and adjusting blinds and curtains, turning on/off lights, setting security systems.

  Generally visits for cats are once a day. However, for younger and older cats, as well as those with special needs, it is better for them to be seen more than once.

  Generally visits for dogs are three times a day. We try to limit the dogs “alone time” to hours when you would normally be sleeping and not “actively” around your dog.
  
  Daily Dog Walking/Midday Breaks – Our midday walks help give you and your pets the regular program of exercise they need to live strong, healthy and happy lives. We feed, provide fresh water and exercise your pet each day and will administer medication per your instructions and follow instructions regarding special diets.
  
  Our midday breaks are primarily for dogs (although we will do cats). We find that the midday walk is an excellent break for your dog. There are many advantages to dog walking. Walking is a great exercise for your pet. A brisk walk is good for your dog's heart and extends their life. Without exercise, pets become unmotivated and bored. Walking your pets not only helps them stay active, but keeps them out of mischief. **

        **This is an excellent program for professionals who work in-town or have long work hours.
  
  Puppy Program – The first several months are critical for puppy development. We will help you crate train your puppy by making visits to your home during the day to let your puppy out, play with them, feed them (if you need us to do so), walk them, and reinforce basic commands.

Home Services

House Sitting - Secure Checks

If you simply need for your home to be looked after while you're away, our house sitting service is for you. Generally house sitting includes one visit per day. We can accomodate multiple visits per day upon request. Our visit includes bringing in mail, checking all windows & doors, putting garbage cans out, turning lights on, setting security systems, checking heating/air, watering indoor plants, checking appliances and faucets, and giving your home that "lived in" look to provide you piece of mind while you're away.

Pet Supply Delivery

If you need some help getting your pet supplies, our pet supply delivery service can help. We'll be happy to pick up your pet supplies found at PetSmart or Petco and deliver them to your home. If we have keys to your home, we'll even bring them in for you if you are away.
